Member of Parliament Jan Tinetti has selected former Katikati College student Noelene Tewhakaara as her Youth MP for 2019.

Noelene is studying at Toi Ohomai in Tauranga with the aim of fulfilling her dream of becoming a lawyer, her goal since she was 12.

In her application, Noelene said she wanted to drive change to empower youth and to encourage her peers to challenge themselves to reach their full potential.
