Important information for senior students in Term 4

Ian Nicholson —

Term 4 is traditionally busy for many of our senior students.

Our Derived Grade practice exams begin on Tuesday, October 15. These exams will provide our seniors with an insight as to where they are at with their external Achievement Standards and the results are also used if students cannot attend the November exams due to medical reasons. A timetable for Derived Grade practice exams is attached below.

Following these, senior students can opt into Revision Tutorials in order to best prepare for the NCEA exams. Students have been emailed a link to these in order to sign up.

The NCEA National exams begin on November 8. We wish our students every success with these. Students must be at exams no later than 20 minutes before they begin. A timetable for NCEA National exams is attached below.

Finally, applications for the 2020 Student Leadership team have been opened to our Year 12 students. These include Head Boy/ Girl, Deputy Head Boy/ Girl, Academic, Arts, Cultural, Sports Captains and Heads of Houses. This year we have had a fantastic student leadership team and we look forward to next year's group.
