Regional RepresentationCongratulations to Leilani Rooks and Gemma Groenewald who travelled away with the Tauranga U18 Womens team to Christchurch in the school holidays, Leilani as a player and Gemma as an Umpire. TNC U18 Women finished 12th. Also to Shayden Hemopo who played for the Tauranga U17 Men's team at the men's tournament. They finished 6th. Meghann Fraser co-captained the Tauranga Hockey U18 Women's team at the National tournament in Auckland. Though they finished near the bottom, the very young team had a terrific time competing closely with all the top teams. Joshua King and Broedy Pearce played for the Thames Valley U14 Rugby team at the Heartland Development camp, with great results, 3 wins and a draw.
