The Katikati College 1st X1 Hockey girls travelled to Whanganui to play in the Mary Clinton Hockey tournament. Sixteen teams from all over the North Island attended this event

Results were

KKC vs Tararua College win 3 – 1

KKC vs Marist College win 2 – 0

KKC vs Freyberg High (eventual winners) lost 1 – 2

KKC vs Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Ruamata lost 1 – 4 (2nd place getters)

KKC vs Sancta Maria College win 4 – 1

KKC vs Hastings Girls High win 1 – 0

Overall, it was a very rewarding week of hockey where all players performed beyond expectations. These fine young women certainly did us proud on the hockey turf. Well done Katikati College 1st X1 Girls Hockey team! Final placing 5th out of 16.
