This is an opportunity for students heading into the senior school to come and talk with Heads of Faculty and other subject leaders about what their courses offer at Levels 1-3. This is a great time for parents & students to ask lots of questions before subject selection. At this evening we will have a range of providers to talk with you about your son/ daughter's pathway.

Katikati College students have again demonstrated their ability to compete at the highest level in this competition.

Many of our Year 7 students were involved in the Rocket Challenge during Term Two and had an absolute BLAST building and launching their rockets

Katikati College entered three teams into this year's Model United Nations in Tauranga.

Our Year 12 Biology students had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Maungatautari reserve at the end of Term Two.

Forest Chinnery recently received the IRMTBOP Warrington Cup award for the highest mark in grade 5 or 6 (2018) for the Trinity College of London Examinations.

After 37 years we are having a re-fit of our library. New carpet, new wall linings, new shelving, new furniture! This will be so exciting!

Research by three Katikati College Innovative Horticulture students is yielding information which will help the kiwifruit postharvest sector further improve inventory management and fruit quality.

These awards are Australasia's only community centred teaching award where parents and members of the community can nominate educators for an award.

The Frazzled Kiwi is an adventure race for families, students and beginners. Take your map and clue sheet make your way around the course collecting points and completing mystery activities. Get your teams of up to five people and make a day of it. Enter as a Family Team, Student Team or Social Adult Team.

Students have been following the design process to make a simple drawstring backpack lined with water-resistant fabric, experimenting with colour choices and combinations and using paint and fabric markers on fabric.

A team of students volunteered again to run the "Plant-Minder" stand and help out with sales.

Filipe Vakasuiola, Tesimoni Uilou & Tomasi Vakasiuola have been selected into the BOP U18 Co-Ed School training camp. Well done guys!

Seven students recently attended a flight attending course.

In June, ESOL students presented workshops to the community about aspects of their cultures as part of Katikati's Festival of Cultures. Riko and Miyu talked about kimono.

The Year 12 Outdoor Education class had an exhilarating trip to Adrenalin Forest to go Tree-top Climbing for one of their Achievement Standards.

The final round of cross country took place recently in Kaharoa with five runners from Katikati College competing against 400 runners from across the Bay.

There are a lot of parents out there who are unsure about the tools that their children may be learning/using within the school classroom, and this 12 week course will help parents to understand a little more.
