Recently about 100 students enjoyed a 50-minute no-tech programme brought directly to Katikati College by Young & Hungry Tours. I AM MĀORI showcased extracts from plays by Māori playwrights. The show was directed by Nancy Brunning (Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāi Tūhoe).

Katikati College has again hosted a round of the hotly contested E Pro 8 Engineering Challenge. With 10,000 students involved across the country, the event is growing in popularity every year.

Mrs Donaldson and Mrs Sweeney had the fantastic opportunity of taking 48 Year 11 students to tour Elam, School of Fine Arts, which is part of The University of Auckland, during Week 3 of Term 2.

Katikati College sent a strong team to the Thames Valley Cross Country championships held in a new location at South Farm in Mangatarata, a great course with hills, river crossings and farm land.
