Our student council this year is made up of several students from each year group. Our purpose is to be a voice for the students at our school and we also fund raise for projects around the school such as new picnic tables.

Following a busy time during Covid-19 lockdown, Red Cross is actively seeking new volunteer Community Relief Team members from Waihi Beach, Katikati and Omokoroa.

This year Katikati College started a new programme in which students from Omokoroa Number 1, Omokoroa Point and Whakamarama schools come onsite on a Thursday to learn about Technology and Science.

This runs from July 6 - 17.

This is a free sports based programme for youth aged 12-17 years and is open to anyone. Numbers are limited. You can enrol online at www.katikaticommunity.nz youth or pop into the Resource Centre.
