Ready, set, build! Our senior students are about to put their science and engineering skills to the test in one of the most exciting competitions of the year!

Today, two teams of our senior students will head off to Ōtumoetai Intermediate to represent our school in the first round of the EPro8 Challenge — a fast-paced, hands-on science and engineering competition that sees over 35,000 students from all over Aotearoa take part each year!

Over the course of the event, 12 teams will race against the clock to design, build, and problem-solve their way through a series of wacky and wonderful challenges. Think moving machines, tricky electronics, and plenty of teamwork!

Our amazing teams have been training hard during their lunch breaks, showing real grit, creativity, and persistence. The selection process was tough this year – so many eager students put their hands up – but we’re incredibly proud to announce our 2024 representatives: Bonnie, Amy, Willow, Jordyn, Jacob, Furion, Ollie, and Timote!
