School Uniform Guidelines
To help you get ready, here are the compulsory items for our school uniform.
Uniforms can be purchased at The Warehouse at Fraser Cove. We recommend you purchase in-store as sizing can be tricky.
The compulsory items of uniform are:
Polo shirt with Katikati Primary School logo on left hand side. Colours are bottle green or gold.
Sweatshirt and/or polar fleece - bottle green.
Bottom garment must be black or navy blue, preferably Schooltex range sourced from The Warehouse. No jeans.
Wide brimmed sunhats in the 1st and 4th term. Hats can be purchased from the school office.
Jewellery - acceptable sleeper studs or a watch ONLY.
Caps, beanies and hoodies are not acceptable clothing.
Shoes - style and colour are your choice
Sun Safety
To keep your child safe from the sun, please follow these guidelines:
Ensure your child has a sun hat with a wide brim at school this term. Hats are available for purchase from the school office for $15.00.
The sun can be very fierce at this time of year, even on cloudy days. If your child burns easily, please ensure they come to school wearing sun lotion.
We have sun lotion available at school for your child to apply during the day. Please inform the class teacher if your child has an allergy to the lotion.
Second Hand Uniform Shop
The school second hand uniform shop is open Monday's between 8.15am - 8.30am, situated inside the school hall.
Name Children's Belongings
Just a reminder to put names on uniforms, including shoes, swimming togs, towels, lunchboxes, drink bottles, hats etc. It will make it easy to find homes for lost property.
