Bidding Farewell to Barbara Woodham

Today, we recognise and applaud Barbara Woodham for her remarkable 15 years of service.

With sincere appreciation for guiding our youngest learners, Barbara's dedication has left an enduring impact on our school community. She has been a guiding light for our children, bringing passion, patience, and expertise to the classroom, shaping the minds and hearts of countless students.

Beyond the classroom, Barbara took on the arduous task of overseeing relievers across the school. Her meticulous organisation ensured seamless class coverage. As Team Leader for Team 1 right up to 2024, her leadership fostered a cohesive and supportive team environment. Barbara's contributions to the Health and Safety committee assisted with the well-being of our school community. As an Associate Teacher for student teachers, she nurtured the next generation of educators.

Barbara is renowned for being a real team player. Her support for colleagues, particularly in Team 1, has been exemplary. Her pastoral care provided comfort and guidance, creating a nurturing environment for students and staff. Barbara's sense of humour has brought joy and laughter to the school, creating a positive atmosphere. Known for her amazing baking, she delighted many with her baking talents, adding a special touch to school gatherings.

Barbara's 15 years of service at Katikati Primary are marked by unwavering dedication, exceptional teaching, and commitment. As we bid farewell to Barbara, we celebrate her recent marriage and wish her all the very best as she moves to Rotorua. Her contributions will be deeply missed, but her impact will always be felt within our school.
