Why Reporting Absences is Important:

• Absence reports are sent to the Ministry of Education daily.

• Accurate records prevent absences being coded as truant.

What You Need to Do:

• Notify the school on the morning your child will be absent.

• Give a reason for the absence (e.g., sickness, family event).

• The more detail you provide, the better.
