Kia ora and Welcome to the New School Year!
As we start another exciting year at Katikati Primary School, I am delighted to welcome back our tamariki, whānau, and staff, and to extend a special greeting to those joining us in 2025. Together, we make up a vibrant and supportive school community where everyone plays a valuable role.
This year, we continue to be guided by our school motto, Katikati Kids Proudly Succeeding, and our ERICA values - Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Citizenship, and Attitude. These values shape everything we do, from learning in the classroom, playing in the playground, or waiting in the bus line.
A key part of maintaining a positive environment is ensuring our interactions are respectful. We kindly remind whānau, caregivers, and visitors to treat our staff with respect and adhere to our school’s code of conduct. This helps us create a safe and supportive atmosphere for everyone.
We look forward to celebrating achievements and creating opportunities for every student to grow and thrive. Thank you for being part of this endeavour and for your contributions to our school’s success.
Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
