ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE BY OUR APPA CHOIR

Vicki P/Sarah —

The APPA Music Festival is an event organised each year for schools so they may showcase their singers, musicians and cultural groups.

The event has auditions for the musicians and cultural groups and the best get to perform. The singers practice for the entire year which is a big commitment. They then come together for group practices in a variety of Auckland schools and finally the Town Hall to bring their harmony and parts together. It is a wonderful musical learning experience for the singers.

Kaurilands Senior Choir from Year 4 ,Year 5 and Year 6 were well rehearsed and ready for their performance night in the Town Hall on Tuesday the 26th November. The singers were very enthused by the stages of learning development and practices. Their excitement turned into a sensational performance.

This is a highlight for all involved and the night is always a sell out.

A big thank you to choir trainers who commit for the year and the students who give up a lot of their time to get their performance level into top gear.

Thanks Vicki Palmer and Sarah Milner
