The Year One Syndicate held their annual Cross Country On Wednesday 22nd May. The children participated in several tag games and competed against their classmates in a race around the school field. 

A small athletic group of spectators ran in the parent race and Lee Goodwin, the mother of Paige in Room 20, sprinted home to take first place! 

The winning children from each class then ran in a final race.   First, second and third place in the boys final went to Luca Stewart Rm 19, Charlie Taylor Rm 16 and Eli Harrison Rm 20. 

First, second and third place in the girls final went to Poppy  Rm 20, Isabel Rm 20 and Harper Rm 19.

 A great time was had by all! Thanks to all our spectators who cheered our Year 1's on.
