On Wednesday 26 October, Rūma Tekau mā rua began their athletics rotation! Led by our amazing sports leaders in Year 6, we learnt how to do long jump as well as start and finish a sprint race. Everyone had a wonderful time outside in the fresh air and it was so great to see all their enthusiasm. Even though it got hot, we all had our sunscreen and water bottles with us and can’t wait to give shot put and high jump a go in the weeks to come. Bring on summer!
