In Room 2a we have been learning about a Mexican celebration called 'El Dia de los Muertos' or Day of the Dead. This is a really interesting celebration where people remember their loved ones who have passed. The festival is full of flowers, food and colour. We researched and wrote stories about the festival. We learned about calacas or skulls, which are an important part of the celebration. We created our own calacas for art and explored lines of symmetry.
