Kaurilands School entered the West Auckland Cricket competition for the first time and brought home a Trophy! Read the report of events written by a member of the winning team. 

Erin Namajuska made an announcement through the speaker - we were entering the West Auckland Cricket Competition for the first time!  

A real opportunity to put Kaurilands School on the cricket map!!! 

In the end we made four teams! Pretty impressive, some guys knew the rules some didn't but everyone was keen and willing to give it a good go. 

 When the day arrived there were at least 7 schools competing, about 6 or 7 people in each team, all of them with their eyes on the prize. What an awesome day - sixes, fours, incredible catching and some incredible bowling. 

The Kaurilands A team pulled it off and won the trophy, it was surely a day to remember! Thanks to all of the Kaurilands teams for such an amazing day.

Congratulations to the winning team members: Harrison , Thomas,  Ryan, Anthony, Daniel, Ethan, Fletcher, Aman and Kyle.

Well done also to the other two teams who participated on the day and made Kaurilands proud!  Also thanks to the Managers, Lance Roberts and Sandy.
