Principal's Message

Jo Augustine —

Kia ora e te whānau

We are really looking forward to opening school up again for whānau to come on in from Monday 4th April.  If you are coming in for a meeting or for longer than just drop off or pick up, please sign in at the office.  When onsite, please ensure you are wearing a mask, maintaining distance from each other and using hand sanitiser.

These next two weeks will be an adjustment period for our children to get used to more freedom as to the spaces they use during break times and we will be talking to them about this in class.  It has been a long time since year levels have been able to mix and this will be a new phenomenon entirely for our new children!  A reminder that the car park will be out of use as of Monday so children will need to enter school through the hall gate or main foyer entrance.  The senior gate will also be open and of course children can enter from the field area.  If you need to drop your children off at 8.15am they may wait on the hall court area until the 8.30am bell.  Please don't send children earlier than 8.15am to wait.  If you need supervision for your children earlier than 8.15am before school care is open from 7.00am.

We are really looking forward to seeing you all at the Parent/Teacher meetings in Week 10.  If you have any problem booking a slot online, please contact the office.

Two weeks until the holidays!  School closes for Term 1 on Thursday 14th April at 3.00pm and re-opens for Term 2 on Monday 2nd May at 8.55am.

For your information we have two call back days coming up for teachers which are Friday 3rd June 2022 (Queen's Birthday weekend)  and Friday 21st October (Labour Day weekend).  School will be closed for students on these days.
