Room 13 has created beautiful metallic lanterns to decorate our school for the month of Ramadan.

Ramadan, is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar and a holy month of fasting, reflection, and community. It begins and ends with the appearance of the crescent moon. The end of the Ramadan fast is celebrated as Eid al-Fitr, the Feast of Fast-Breaking.

In some Islamic countries, lights or fanous are strung up in public squares and across city streets. This beautiful tradition inspired us to create our own lanterns for everyone to enjoy.
