Kia ora whānau

Term 2 is underway!  You will have seen in the media it is highly likely all teachers in NZ primary and secondary schools will take strike action on Wednesday 29th May.  While negotiations continue, it seems highly likely the strike will go ahead.  The implications of the strike will effect us all as school would have to be closed for the day.  Please start thinking about arrangements for your child on this day.  In advance, I am truly sorry for the major inconvenience this day will cause.

On another matter I would like to congratulate Te Whānau Āwhina on a very successful quiz night on Saturday.  Our community really likes dressing up - there were so many amazing costumes!  Special thanks to Xanthe, Haley and the team for your excellent organisation and sheer hard work in putting this event together for us.  We are very lucky to have you all.  Great to see so many of you and thanks for supporting our school.
