Congratulations to Cameron from Rm 29 for winning Player of the Year for his Grade 7 Football team The Glen Eden United 'Volcanoes'.

Well done to the  Chevaliers Football Team who was voted by all the other 7th grade teams for the Sportsmanship Award for this year. This award is given to the team who showed the best sportsmanship and fair play throughout the season.  Five out of the seven players in the team are Kaurilands kids. They are Henry and Alex Rm 18,  Luca Rm 14, Kona and Max Rm 29.   Big thanks to Coach Efisio Enna and Manager Neil Smith.

At the Spring Carnival Cheerleading Championship on the weekend Elena (Rōpū Waru) and Lila's (Rm 9) team got silver in Elite Level 1, Tessa's (Rōpū Whitu) team got gold and Grand Champs in Elite Level 2, and Mila's (Rōpū Waru) team got silver in Rec Level 1.  Go Girls!!!

Cole - Rōpū Toru has just been awarded for Point Chevalier Pirates Rugby League Club U/10 Sportsman of the Year 2017 and Most Overall Sportsman of the Year 2017! Ka pai Cole! 

Neela's (Rm 22)  Cheerleading team (Mystix Superstars) came second place for their division at the Cheerleading Spring Carnival last weekend - way to go Neela!

Emma from  Rōpū Whitu won the Most Improved Player 2017 for her 9th grade soccer team Podolski at the recent Bay Olympic Soccer Club prizegiving.

Alexander from Rōpū Tahi received Player of the Year from his 10th grade football team at Bay Olympic.  This was a total surprise but he had a great and varied season playing different positions and enjoyed it immensely.

Zacchaeus and Jayden from Room 30 along with the rest of their New Lynn Stags team were awarded the Best and Fairest Under 7 Open Team at the Auckland Rugby League Junior Prizegiving.  What a great effort they made this year!  This was also a great achievement considering how many under 7 teams there are in the Auckland Region (From Rodney in the North all the way to Waiuku in the south!)

Cameron from Room 7 received the Bay Olympic Soccer Club 11th Grade Player of the Year trophy for his team – 747's.  A great end to an awesome season where his Division 1B team finished 5th place on the ladder.  Go Cameron!

Annie from Rōpū Iwa fundraised for Save Our Pool  by making homemade stickers and selling them, she made $5 which will be put into the Save Our Pool funds.  Thank you so much Annie, what a great idea!

Max in Room 29 received this fabulous trophy for ‘Player of theYear’ for 2017 – 7th Grade Chevaliers. He plays soccer for BayOlympic. Well done Max!

Lily from Rōpū Whitu received her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Exam results,  Lily passed both Grade 4 Ballet and Solo Performance exams with Distinction!!! ️  You are amazing Lilly!

Mike (Rōpū Whitu) won Best All Rounder for his Glenora Real Deal Under 9 Restricted League team at the club prizegiving. The team also won Best Under 9 team and Best All Round team.  Well done Mike & the team!

Maddie from Rōpū Iwa has had a smashing first season of hockey.  She was top goal scorer for her team The Western Wiggles, Western Districts Hockey Club and can't wait to play again next season. Fantastic Maddie!

Curtis - Rōpū Whitu - won Most Improved Player for his team the U9 Raptors at suburbs junior rugby club, he also got his 5 year badge - playing for suburbs since he was 4 years old.  Ka pai Curtis! 

Joachim - Rōpū Rima - passed grade 4 diving this month and has his first competition this weekend

Ceili -Rōpū Tahi - achieved a Merit in her RAD Grade 4 Group Ballet exams and Merit in RAD Grade 4 Solo Ballet and Distinction in her NZAMD Contemporary Ballet Exams. Great news Ceili!
