Dear Parents and Caregivers

The NZEI has advised the Kaurilands School Board of Trustees that the Principal and teachers at our school will be taking strike action on Monday 12th November 2018 from 7.00am to 7.00pm.

We have carefully considered the availability of teaching staff and unfortunately decided that we cannot provide teaching or any supervision services during this strike. This means that Kaurilands School will be closed on Monday 12th November. Care4kids will also be closed.

You will need to make alternative arrangements for the care of your child/children on this day. We are parents too and we know how inconvenient this is for you and your children but please be assured that student safety is our main concern.

Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.
