The Year 2 classes have been looking at community heroes for our inquiry unit this term.

In Rūma Rua Tekau mā whā we have loved learning about the heroes in our Kaurilands community and the jobs they do to keep our community safe.

We were super excited to get a visit from Hate Hone St John and the firefighters. They taught us what to do in an emergency when someone is hurt or sick and how to keep fire safe.
