Another busy term ends....

AP's —

Message from the Associate Principals.

As we come to the end of Term 3 we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our whānau for your continued support of our school and your tamariki. We have had a very positive term with many highlights and we are looking forward to a warm and sunny Term 4.

Jo Augustine has been away sick for the last 2 weeks of this term and we look forward to seeing her back with us at the start of Term 4.

As always at this time of the year our staff begin to make plans for next year.  We would like to take this opportunity to inform you about these changes.

  • We wish Rosie and Neroni Savaiinaea all the very best for the arrival of their first baby in November.  Rosie, you will be missed but we look forward to seeing you again soon with your gorgeous boy!

  • We warmly welcome back Jenna Powell from her adventures overseas.  Jenna will be teaching in Room 7 and 8 until the end of the year and then in another class from the start of 2018.

  • Kim Noovao who teaches in Room 25 will be leaving us at the end of the year to live and work in Rarotonga.  We thank you Kim for everything you have done at our school and wish you and your whānau all the very best.

  • Emma Best (our Associate Principal) will be leaving Kaurilands at the end of the year to go adventuring with her family in NZ and overseas.

  • We have exciting baby news! Kimberly Newmarch and her husband Andrew will be welcoming a new baby into their whānau in March 2018.  Kimberly will be back with us at the start of 2018 and will take maternity leave in early March.

  • Kylie Parkinson will be leaving us at the end of 2017 to take up an amazing position as a dance and drama teacher. You will be missed Kylie and we wish you all the very best with your new adventures.

From all the staff here at Kaurilands we wish you all a safe and happy holiday.  We look forward to seeing you all on the 16th of October.

Noho ora mai
