In Rūma Toru B, we’ve celebrated Vaiaso le Gagana Samoa (Samoan Language week) by creating some ‘Samoan snowflakes’! 

We had heaps of fun putting these together. We celebrated one of the most beautiful cultures in the world and at the same time we created some beautiful art for our classroom walls. These were put together siapo-style and we think they look really cool! 

On top of this we have been learning some basic everyday Samoan phrases. Everyone has been practising and giving it a go which has been fabulous!
