Bobbi - Rōpū Toru- Gymnastics - Bobbi has started her gymnastics season this year with 2 competitions so far, the first one was in Tauranga a couple of weekends ago competing against a number of North Island clubs. She placed 3rd overall, 3rd on bar and beam and 1st on floor. Last weekend's competition was in Hamilton where she placed 4th overall! Bobbi has 4 more competitions coming up where she is trying to qualify for her very first Nationals, we wish Bobbi the very best of luck with her upcoming competitions - Go Bobbi!

Vinnie from Rm 18 received Player of the Day for his Suburbs Team the  Dolphins on Sat 24th June.   Well done Vinnie!

Neevah - Rōpū Rima  who received player of the day on the 24th of June for Kaurilands Steel after a very cold, wet Saturday game of Netball.  One tough cookie Neevah!

Lucas Rm 17 - Received his Black Tabs for his Orange Belt at Karate after a long and gruelling grading session and also won Player of the Day on Sat 24th June for his soccer team "The Panthers" at Bay Olympic Soccer Club.  Impressive Lucas!

Jake Rm 8a who received Player of the Day for his soccer team the Hurricanes from Bay Olympic Club - good going Jake!

Robert  from Rm 14 on  24 June won Tackler of the Day playing for his Suburbs Rugby Club Team - Makos Under 8.  There are a number of other Kaurilands kids who play with him.  Great effort Robert.

Ashlee Rm 12 who plays for Kaurilands Mystics received Player of the Day at her netball game.  Congrats to you Ashlee!

Pepper  from Rōpū Rima  has been learning a new skill at the GEIS Fun With Felt after-school class and look at the new friend she has made - so cute Pepper!

Bella from Room 9 received  Player of the Day for Kaurilands Flames on Thursday.  Bella has improved considerably in such a short period of time, she successfully intercepted 2 balls while playing defence in Thursday's game.  Kaurilands Flames beat Matipo Stars 12-7. Go Bella!

Elise Rm 15 received Player of the Day for Kaurilands Flames last Thursday.  Elise has exceptional skills in defence, she often tips balls in the air and is strong on attack.  The Flames beat Freyberg Black 12-3. Fantastic Elise!

Jahmayn (Rm 3) won First place in the Knights Division at the 6th Sarapu Cup Chess Tournament.  Fantastic Jahymayn!

Xavier  - Rm 10 was awarded player of the day in his game for the U9 New Lynn Stags Rugby League team on the weekend.  He had an amazing game with lots of big tackles and 4 fabulous tries. Great effort Xavier!
