A lot of effort has gone into our inquiry topic this week in Rūma Whitu.  We have been learning about Ko Au - Who Am I?  Discussing and completing activities together which help us think deeply about who we are inside and outside the classroom, debating about how different things are important to different people and how that is what makes us all unique - this has been awesome!  

Here are some ideas from our tamariki about our inquiry work so far:

"I liked making the kete because I liked cutting and weaving the coloured paper together so it could go on the wall."  Ellie

"I liked making the t-shirt art because when I finished it it made a collage of things that I like. I got to colour it in lots and draw lots of pictures of my family and pets and things that are important to me."  Eva and Madi

"My favourite thing was finishing the cell phones. They were very colourful and I enjoyed being able to express myself. I liked making the background for the selfie because it could show people more about me."  Willem
