The Friends of Kawaka are organising a Weeding Bee to help with the restoration of the bush walkway from the end of Kawaka Street to Atkinson Road beside the school.

They are now planning a follow up weeding bee and hoping to get as many of the community as possible to help with restoring this neat little pocket of bush which has great bones but just needs a bit of love in the stream area. 

The Weeding Bee will take place between 10am - 12pm on Saturday 12 November. All volunteers are welcome.
