I would like to wish all our staff, students and Kaurilands community a wonderful and safe Easter break.  

Here we are once more at the end of the term and what a term it has been!  I'm sure everyone is ready for these holidays.  This will be our last newsletter of the term and  I would sincerely like to thank everyone for the fantastic effort put into Saving Our Pool, especially the fundraising team for Blue Day,  Biscuit Day, Goode Brothers event, raffles etc.  We are heading towards our goal with a huge effort from our Kaurilands and local communities.  Enjoy this break - see you next term at 8.55am on Monday 1st May 2017.

Nancy Robinson our administrator and long term staff member retires this Thursday.  Nancy got involved in Kaurilands School when her boys attended and started working as a Teacher Aide.  Shortly after this Nancy came to work in the office taking care of property and finance. This role has evolved into a massive job over the years.  Running the Kaurilands School plant is a hugely varied  and never ending task. Rarely is there not a problem or project on the go!  Nancy knows where everything is, where everything should be, who to call when things don't work and has a jolly good crack at fixing a lot of issues herself!

Our beautiful environment is due largely to Nancy who has worked in these gardens for all the years she has been here and what a credit they are to her.

Nancy is a do-er - she doesn't walk, she runs from job to job, don't try and keep up with her!  If she isn't gardening somewhere she will be moving furniture, putting together a raffle, packing up boxes, racing down the corridor with a trolley or moving a mountain of mulch - the list goes on. 

Kaurilands School will be forever grateful for the enormous contribution Nancy has made here.  We know Nancy will keep coming back to do some gardening and help out around the place.  She is a lifer!
