Our Year 6 Art installation was themed around Matariki and cultural identity.  Each student researched and designed patterns which reflected their own cultural heritage.  They each painted a Matariki star with these patterns.  The installation reflects the multicultural diversity of Kaurilands School.  Students also worked collaboratively to create the panels which illustrate the Matariki stars and what they represent.
