Ancient Egyptian Exhibition- Trip to Auckland Museum

Room 2A, along with the other Year 6 classes, spent a day at Auckland Museum learning about Ancient Egyptian Life. We had a workshop with one of the Auckland Museum educators and learned lots about what Ancient Egyptians believed. 

We also explored the exhibit “In the time of Pharoahs’. We learned lots about Ancient Egyptian life. We even got to see a real life ancient Egyptian Mummy!

An area that Room 2A wanted to explore further was mummification. We learned all about the process and how and why ancient Egyptians mummified people once they had died.
