Rūma Whā News

Rm 4 —

We love to do drama in Rūma Whā!  This term we have done some fun drama activities to explore emotions through the context of ‘Silly Billy’ by Anthony Browne.

We used a variety of drama techniques to explore the character of Billy. We practiced using our voice, our body language and our facial expressions to convey different feelings and reactions.  We created freeze frames, acted out in role play, created a setting and used mime, to explore some of the language and behaviours that we might show when we are feeling worried and we are beginning to talk about how we can deal with some of these feelings.  Here are some photos of our dramatic creations!
