Open Days & Evenings for Prospective Students & Parents

Come and see GEIS in action - there will be school tours on open days and open evenings.  On open evenings ONLY there will be a presentation from our staff and student leaders.

OPEN DAYS: Tuesday, 20th June & Thursday, 22nd June - 9 - 10.20am, 10.40 - 11.40am, 12 - 1pm (Come in at any of the above times for a tour of the school with one of our student leaders.

OPEN EVENING: Tuesday, 27th June 7 - 9pm - for Titirangi, Arahoe, Woodlands Park, Kaurilands, Laingholm and Other Out of Zone schools

OPEN EVENING: Thursday, 29th June 7 - 9pm - for Konini, Glen Eden, Oratia, Fruitvale, Prospect and Other Out of Zone Schools

Enrolments WILL be accepted on these days and evenings in the school office.  You will need to bring the necessary documentation to complete the process (enrolment form,  passport or birth certificate and proof of address).

ZONES:

In Zone - The Law requires that GEIS gives priority to enrolling students who live in our home zone. In zone enrolments close Wednesday, 30th August 2017.

Out of Zone - Places, where available, are offered according to the following priorities:

Priority 1 - Special Programmes approved by the Secretary of Education (this does not apply to our school)

Priority 2 - Siblings of current students

Priority 3 - Siblings of former students

Priority 4 - Children of former students

Priority 5 - Children of Board employees

Priority 6 - All other applicants
