Over the last few weeks the Year 6 classes have learnt about the importance of the Matariki stars.

In Rūma Tahi A we have loved learning about the 9 sisters and their different meanings. We loved discussing and researching the ways we can celebrate this important time of the Māori New Year. 

We created this art using different pastel colour mediums and blending them together.
