After 30 years of teaching at Kaurilands School

On Friday 1st September Kaurilands School farewelled a legendary teacher - Mrs Jill Larbey - who has taught at Kaurilands for 30 years. Jill's husband David was a founding member of Kaurilands and started as a pupil on the very first day the school opened, Jill's two daughters attended Kaurilands and her two grandsons are currently attending,  so all in all three generations of one family came to this school!  In 1987 Mrs Larbey started teaching here and she has been an inspiration to many students and teachers, with her passion for the environment Jill has inspired many students to become eco-friendly and she is the reason we are an environmentally friendly and waste wise school.  We wish Jill all the very best for a long and happy retirement.
