Auckland Writers Festival

We took 21 senior students on the train into the city to the Auckland Writers Festival. We heard three authors talking about their wonderful books and writing. The authors were Selina Tusitala Marsh, Bernard Beckett & Jessica Townsend. It was an inspiring day out for us all.

Kaurilands Reading Challenge

Nate from Rūma Whitu is the first student to finish the Bronze Reading Challenge - Kei te pai Nate!

Scholastic Book Fair 

The library will be turning into a pop-up book shop with help from Scholastic. The Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place in the school library from Monday 17th May to Friday 21st May opening 8.30am - 4pm (closing 3.30pm on Friday) This is a chance to encourage the love of reading in your child. Every book sold benefits the school and allows the school to buy new books and resources. Hope to see you there!
