Kaurilands Amazing Kids!
Henry from Rm 2 auditioned for a part in the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre's Bugsy Malone and got some parts! He will be playing the parts of the Butler, the Barber and Shady, the double crosser as well as being part of the ensemble. He is busy practising a few days a week at the moment and will be performing in 12 shows over the second week of the April school holidays. Xavier from RΕ«ma Toru caught his first Marlin on Waitangi Day. What an amazing way to finish his fabulous summer holidays! It was a 98.8kg striped marlin, caught out over the Manukau Bar. It took him one and a half hours to wind in!! π£π£
Aidan (Rm 13) and his sister Lauren (ex-Kaurilands) won their age group divisions on Sunday 24th February at the XRace (xrace.co.nz) in Devonport, beating over a 1000 parent & child teams. XRace is a combination of challenges with running between challenges. It is billed as being the most fun a parent and child can have together - Aiden's parents recommend it!π₯π₯
