USA Visitors to Kaurilands

Emma Best —

from Arkansas

On Wednesday 25th October Kaurilands hosted 35 special visitors from the United States (all educators) who were finding out how New Zealand schools run.  They were welcomed with a whākatau by our senior students (Years 4, 5 and 6).  Our senior Ambassadors took groups of these visitors around the school for a good look and answered many questions.  The visitors stayed for morning tea and lunch, they were thrilled by all they saw, very impressed with our lovely students and enjoyed their visit at our very welcoming  school.  Thank you and well done guys, you are great advocates for our wonderful school.  A few of our boys challenged the men to a quick game of basketball, see the photos below.
