Principal's Message

Jo Augustine —

Kia ora e te whānau

Here we are! End of Term 1 and time for a little break for our hardworking children and staff. This has been a very busy term with camps, sports events, trips, building works, professional development, parent meetings and lots of heat! What an amazing summer it has been!

At the end of this term we say farewell to one of our teachers, Gracie Derbyshire, who is currently teaching Room 9 Year 5. Gracie is going travelling overseas and we wish her all the best for the next adventure! We will miss her!

Alana will be teaching in Room 9 for Term 2 and will be joined by Sarah Kahi who is finishing her teaching qualification and will then become the teacher of this class for the remainder of the year.

Congratulations to all our Principal's Award winners today - we are so proud of you all! Congratulations also to our Year 6 Student Leaders who received their certificates and badges today. Look out for our Sports Leaders next term.

Thanks to you all for supporting us throughout the term in so many wonderful ways. We are truly privileged to work in such an amazing community.

Happy Easter and have a safe and restful break. See you all on Monday 28th April.
