News from Rūma 5

Franny O'Hanlon —

This term Room 5 kicked off with an exciting Crazy Hair Day Art and Writing Project!

In art, our students explored ink and pastels to create imaginative, wild hairstyles using unique line formations like zig-zag lines, castle lines, and more.  They also experimented with bold colours and textures, bringing their artistic visions to life with each swirl and stroke.

In writing, our students crafted expressive poems to match their artwork, using vibrant adjectives, emotions, and action words to describe their characters’ crazy hair.

This creative combination allowed the students to develop both artistic and literary skills whilst having lots of fun.  We are so proud of their unique creativity!
