What stunning weather we have been experiencing!  This has been great for school as we can have the children outside learning, playing, exercising, creating and adventuring in our wonderful environment.  What a fantastic asset it is to have our field and unique bush area which are both being well used at this time of year.  This weather also makes ventilating the classrooms easy as everything is open to get as much air flow as possible happening.

This Friday we have 19% of our children away, a drop from last week.  Hopefully this figure will continue going down as we continue through March.  Thanks for keeping us informed if your children do become unwell, we are very grateful to be receiving this information so promptly.

Even with the challenges we have been facing this term school has been buzzing with activity.  The children are benefitting from lots of outdoor activities as well as a big focus on Reading, Writing and Maths.  Lots of Art and Inquiry projects are underway and I am excited to see displays going up around the school again!

At this stage we still have 3 year groups having breaks in separate areas at a time followed by the other 3 groups.  This has allowed us to minimise congestion as much as we can particularly when we take groups up to spread out on the field which they are loving.

One month to go until the end of Term 1!  School finishes for the term on Thursday 14th April and Term 2 begins on Monday 2nd May.

Have a great weekend everyone!
