Students have access to audiobooks and ebooks all day every day with the Kaurilands eplatform. https://kaurilands.eplatform.co/
As well as fiction and non-fiction, students have access to levelled readers and decodable phonic readers.
All Kaurilands students have a login:

Look for your library and log in - you’ll only need to do this once.
Search for, borrow and read or listen to any book you want!
Download first in Wi-Fi spaces or before you leave home.
Cinderella Competition Winners
Congratulations to our Cinderella colouring competition winners! Lily (Rm 15), Lilly (Rm 8b) and Lucy (Rm 2b) each won a double pass to see Cinderella at the Glen Eden Playhouse and a Library prize bag. Congratulations girls!
Lunchtime Librarians
See our amazing Student Lunchtime Librarians below who have completed their Bronze Level Library Skills Certificate. Our Student Librarians help us run the Library at lunchtime and their contribution is invaluable to the running of our very busy lunchtime sessions.
Hells Pizza Wheels
Here are some of our awesome students who have completed their Hell Pizza wheels so far this term! Students read seven books and answer a question, or write a book review of each, and they earn a free kids size Hell Pizza. We are very proud of them!
Book Week
We will be celebrating our school Book Week during the last week of Term 3. We will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair in the Library during the week, as well having two visiting authors and a book parade. More details to follow!
Competitions
Dorothy Butler's Children's Bookshop have launched the annual bookmark competition. They would like students to design a bookmark on the theme of 'Bugs and Butterflies'. Entry forms are available from the Library or online here. Entry forms must be returned to the Library by Friday 26th July to be submitted.
Calling all creative writers. The Young Authors Challenge is a writing competition for students to write a short story on the theme "A Choice I Made". Students can write up to 250 words on this theme and be in with the chance to win a fantastic prize. More information is available here.
ASLA DANZ Children's Book Awards - Judges Required
DANZ (Diversity in Australia & Aotearoa NZ) are looking for children of all ages to be a judge in their book awards and help curate their longlist of books. This is a fantastic chance for children to review and recommend books. To apply (with an adult's permission) click on the link here.
