Auckland Transport had a month long competition to encourage children to keep walking  to school over winter.  This was called  the Winter Wizard.  Our Kaurilands Walking School Bus children dressed up in hats and wigs and crazy hair and entered the photo competition and guess what - THEY WON!   The winning prize was a visit from the Winter Wizard and the hot chocolate van which took place this morning.    The bonus with the prize was the police dog Zac and his handler Calvin.   All the walkers enjoyed the hot chocolate and as an an added bonus our road patrollers were invited to enjoy a hot chocolate too!
