This term Room 7 has been learning about how to construct our Pepeha. To reinforce our learning, we have been making lots of cool art around the concepts of Pepeha. You may have seen the amazing 3D Maunga art in the corridor where we used Peter Gossage’s retelling of ‘Battle of the Mountains’ to learn about the significance of mountains to our Pepeha.

We have also been working on an ‘All About Me Kete’ which we will fill with treasures and personal information unique to each child. We really enjoy making art in Room 7!
