EPro8 Competition Grand Final for Kaurilands team.

EPro8 is an exciting interschools science and technology competition sponsored by Vector, which is held throughout the country from Years 5 to 13. School teams compete against each other to finish a variety of fun and interesting challenges in two and a half hours.

This year Kaurilands entered 2 teams in the Year 5 / 6 category. Our Year 5 Ninjaneers team successfully won their heat and semi-final competition, finishing way ahead of their nearest rivals. The secret to the Ninjaneers phenomenal success was their ability to communicate, problem solve and work in sync as a team.

Last Friday they competed in the grand finals against 23 other teams from around Auckland. This time the challenges were more complicated. It was an exciting time watching them working away to complete their challenges. In the end they came a very commendable third place with only 10 points separating them and the winning teams.

I am so very proud of our Ninjaneers and they deserve every accolade.
