Is your child unwell?

Sick Bay —

Please keep them home!

With the onset of cold, wintery weather, comes a wide range  of viral and bacterial illnesses so it is timely to remind parents of a few things you can do to help prevent the spread of these infections.

Children with diarrhoea and/or vomiting - please keep home for 24 hours post last episode.

Please keep your child home if they have a fever and are coughing and sneezing or are generally presenting as feeling unwell.

Following these simple steps will help with the prevention of germs spreading and the possibility of your child being reinfected.

Some childhood illnesses such as Slap Cheek are contagious prior to any symptoms showing and are no longer contagious when symptoms appear, therefore it is essential you  keep your child at home if they have a fever or show signs of being unwell.
