Rūma 1b are enjoying delving into our Olympic Inquiry this term and learning more about new sports.

This week in art we have explored multiple different elements, including silhouette, movement, contrast and form. Students also practised their digital fluency, experimenting with using various online tools to enhance their hand-made art.

To create this art work, which combines both hand-made and digital art, students first created “jointed figures” by cutting out each body part and piecing them back together in an athletic pose of their choosing. Whilst most students chose Olympic sports, a few students chose other sports they were interested in.
