A record that has stood since 1980 was broken at the recent Auckland Athletics Championships.

Yes, Michael Prince, who is in Room 7/8 (Year 5), broke the current Glen Eden Club Discus record when he competed at the recent Auckland Athletics Champs at Waitakere Trust Stadium and came 2nd in the 8 year old boys' Discus. He also placed 3rd in Shotput where he threw his personal best. 

 This event includes all clubs in Auckland and is the highlight of the Athletic's event calendar for the season. Congratulations Mike on a fantastic effort!
