Rūma Rua has been learning about Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and over the last few weeks we have been exploring the events leading up to its signing. 

We have been looking at early Māori society and have now moved on to looking at the reasons British citizens wanted to emigrate to Aotearoa, New Zealand.

In this 'Post It' activity, the students examined pictures of Māori life in pre-European times. They worked in groups and posted their ideas about what they thought was happening in the picture using their prior knowledge.
