Principal's Message

Jo Augustine —

Kia ora e te whānau

Congratulations to all the children in the picture above, our mid term Principal's Award winners. We are very proud of you all.

We were extremely fortunate to enjoy a performance by our school band, The Marones, at assembly last Friday. They were incredible - so much talent! A big thanks to Steve King for putting the band together and working with them every week.

A huge thanks to Erin and the Year 3 team for organising and running the Year 3 sleepover last night in the hall and the wonderful activities last night and today. We look forward to seeing some pictures in our next newsletter.

Coming up on Thursday 8 December, we will be holding a very special assembly to farewell Jocelyn Heremaia who has been a teacher at Kaurilands School for 42 years! Our assembly will take place at 10am and all are welcome to attend this special occasion.

On Friday 9 December we would love you all to come along to our school Christmas picnic on the field from 5-7pm. Further details to follow.  It's going to be a very busy three and a half weeks until the end of the term. We look forward to seeing you all at some of the events between now and then.

A reminder that school finishes for the year at 1.00pm on Tuesday 20th December.
